纽约流传着很多鬼故事，象西10街上的马克吐温大楼、著名的Chelsea旅馆，当然最有名的是Spring Street上的Manhanttan Bistro，一家不大的小餐馆。传说中，200多年前，1800年，一位即将成为新娘的女子，在结婚前夜，尸体被人发现在位于这里的一口井底，后来成为129号，Spring Street的地址，好像街道的名称Spring，也是来源于“the Road to the spring”那么句话。

记得以前有人给俺讲过，当年，女子家人和警方都认为，最受怀疑的杀人凶手是她的未婚夫，可是，在后来的法庭官司上，新郎聘请的辩护律师，是大名鼎鼎的亚历山大·汉密尔顿和爱朗·伯尔，最后当然是打赢了官司，新郎无罪释放了。可是，受了冤情的女子便时时在此地显灵，并为新郎一家和律师上了诅咒。不久，汉密尔顿和伯尔成了政敌，继而进行了一场决斗，汉密尔顿中枪而死，而伯尔也中止了政治生涯，一蹶不振。

直到如今，这个餐馆里还时时传出女鬼显身的耸闻，餐馆也借此大作“鬼”生意。

鬼节将至，这个周末，纽约到处都是与鬼有关的活动，找来一些，列在这里：

Candlelight Ghost Tours，中央公园里的Merchant’s House Museum，被称作纽约最有名的鬼屋，October 25, 26, 27, 29, 30 晚6点到10点，举办烛光游鬼活动，Candlelight Ghost Tours。每30分钟一次，带有讲鬼故事。

如果你还记得eyes wide shut？阿汤在八街买了一套鬼装，开去新泽西参加群魔乱舞。阿汤寂寞的时候，出去解闷找的妓女，应该是住在东11街340号，所以，离这里不算远的BLVD夜总会，便把这个传统继承了下去。

Eyes Wide Shut Halloween Mansion Party

Tom and Nicole won’t be present, but the spooky (if not slightly cheesy) vibe of "Eyes Wide Shut” is re-created throughout BLVD’s 4,000-square-foot space, with DJs Abrupt, JCNY and E.M. spinning hip-hop, R&B, reggaeton, house, ‘80s and freestyle. If you’re looking to score some cash, don’t think about throwing on an old white sheet and cutting a couple of eye holes: $1,000 cash prize will be awarded for the best male and female costumes (which are mandatory for admission).
